Taxonomy
Haplolasma was named by Semenoff-Tian-Chansky (1974) [Sepkoski's age data: C Vise-l]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Dibunophyllinae by Hill (1981); and to Rugosa by Sepkoski (2002).
