Pectinodon bakkeri

Taxonomy
Pectinodon bakkeri was named by Carpenter (1982). Its type specimen is UCM 38445, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bushy Tailed Blowout, which is in a Lancian terrestrial shale in the Lance Formation of Wyoming.

It was synonymized subjectively with Troodon formosus by Currie (1987), Paul (1988), Currie et al. (1990), Varricchio (1997), Peng et al. (2001), Makovicky and Norell (2004); it was recombined as Troodon bakkeri by Olshevsky (1992), Olshevsky (2000).
