Klukia was named by Raciborski (1890). It is not extant. Its type is Klukia exilis.

It was assigned to Schizaeaceae by Andrews (1970), Lakhanpal et al. (1976), Lapasha and Miller (1985); and to Schizeaceae by Chandra and Tewari (1991).
