Santiagorothia chiliensis

Taxonomy
Santiagorothia chiliensis was named by Hitz et al. (2000). Its type specimen is SGOPV 2914, a skull (skull and mandibles with nearly complete dentition), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tinguiririca Locality Sets 1 & 2, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial volcaniclastic in the Abanico Formation of Chile. It is the type species of Santiagorothia.
