Tetralasma was named by Schindewolf (1942) [Sepkoski's age data: C Vise-l P Djhu Sepkoski's reference number: 893]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Polycoeliinae by Hill (1956); and to Rugosa by Sepkoski (2002).
