Taxonomy
Vanbreenia trigonia was named by Bianucci and Landini (2002). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Miste, which is in a Langhian coastal siliciclastic in the Breda Formation of the Netherlands. It is the type species of Vanbreenia.
