Globicephala etruriae
Taxonomy
Globicephala etruriae was named by Pilleri (1987). Its type specimen is IGF 1543 v, a mandible (anterior half of mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Volterra, which is in a Piacenzian coastal claystone/sandstone in Italy.
