Delphinavus newhalli

Taxonomy
Delphinavus newhalli was named by Lull (1914). Its type specimen is YPM 10040, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Suey Ranch, which is in a Clarendonian marine sandstone in the Monterey Formation of California. It is the type species of Delphinavus.
