Corystosiren varguezi
Taxonomy
Corystosiren varguezi was named by Domning (1990). Its type specimen is IGM 4569, a skull (skull and partial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cenote Rancho Chapas, which is in a Zanclean carbonate limestone in the Carrillo Puerto Formation of Mexico.
