Taxonomy
Breviparopus taghbaloutensis was named by Dutuit and Ouazzou (1980). It is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Demnat North tracksite, which is in an Oxfordian/Kimmeridgian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Iouaridène Formation of Morocco.
