It was assigned to Coleoptera by Park and Downing (2001); to Cucujoidea by Cline et al. (2014) and Robertson et al. (2015); and to Nitidulidae by Crowson (1981), Lawrence and Newton (1995), Kurochkin and Kirejtshuk (2010), Bouchard et al. (2011) and Cai et al. (2022).
