Thalassoleon mexicanus

Taxonomy
Thalassoleon mexicanus was named by Repenning and Tedford (1977) [Instituto de Geologia, Ciudad Universitaria, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico]. Its type specimen is IGCU 902, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Thalassoleon.
