Pliopedia pacifica
Taxonomy
Pliopedia pacifica was named by Kellogg (1921). Its type specimen is Stanford University C. 537, a set of limb elements, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Santa Margarita, southeast, which is in a Zanclean marine sandstone in the Paso Robles Formation of California. It is the type species of Pliopedia.
