F. de Lapparent de Broin and M. S. de la Fuente 2001 | Same for the genus and species. Large quadrangular carapace slightly narrowed, with elongated anterior border (peripherals 4 to 1, pleurals 1, nuchal narrowed anterior nuchal border, elongated and narrowed cervical). Specific characters: slight notch at mid-peripherals 1 (from marginals 1) and nuchal; vertebral 1 narrowed at the nuchal width and vertebrals 2, 3 and 4 clearly but progressively narrowed; long marginals 13 on the suprapygal, progressively elongated from their lateral border at suprapygal-peripheral suture; axillary processes at mid-length of peripherals 3; rather quadrate anterior lobe with slightly elongated epiplastral symphysis and neither widened nor narrowed intergular. PL>AL>B. Primitive posterior wide nuchal border and other characters (see below). |
