Bharatisiren indica
Taxonomy
Bharatisiren indica was named by Bajpai et al. (2006) [Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, Department of Geosciences, Uttaranchel, India]. Its type specimen is IITR-SB 2893, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Matanomadh, which is in a Chattian marine marl in the Maniyara Fort Formation of India. It is the type species of Bharatisiren.
