Diagnosis
Reference | Diagnosis | |
---|---|---|
H. de Bruijn et al. 1993 | The species versteegi is a small Cricetodon. The anterocone of the M1 is divided into two cusps. The mesolophs of the M1 and M2 are usually short, rarely longer and connected to the short posterior spur of the paracone. Occlusal surface of the M3 rounded. Lingual sinus of the M3 nearly always closed by a "new"connection between the protocone and hypocone. m1 with double metalophulid and without true mesolophid (the metalophulid II seems to be homologous with the mesolophid. Upper cheek teeth with three roots each. |
