Geotrypus oschiriensis was named by de Bruijn and Rümke (1974). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NNM OS 301, a mandible (Fragment mandible sin. with p2-p4).

between P3 and P4. P3 much smaller than P4. Mesostyle slightly notched in M3. PI>P2 trigonid and paraconid lying far labially, giving the trigonid a typical skew position. Two foramina mentale, one below p2 and the other one below the posterior root of m1. |
