Myosaurus gracilis
Taxonomy
Myosaurus gracilis was named by Hammer and Cosgriff (1981). Its type specimen is SAM 3526 and 3526a, a skull (Two skulls in nodule), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Harrismith Commonage, which is in an Induan/Olenekian terrestrial horizon in the Normandien Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Myosaurus.
