Taxonomy
Permopsychops belmontensis was named by Tillyard (1926). It is an impression. Its type locality is Belmont (Pincombe 1924 coll), which is in a Changhsingian pond chert in the Croudace Bay Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Permopsychops.
