Taxonomy
Dielasma (Heterelasma) semitarium was named by Reed (1944). Its type specimen is GSI 16959, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Footpath to Banschang, pipe-rock, east of Chhdru, Salt Range, which is in a Wordian shoreface sandstone in the Amb Formation of Pakistan.
