Puffinus felthami
Taxonomy
Puffinus felthami was named by Howard (1949). Its type specimen is LACM 2037, a limb element (right humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Corona del Mar, which is in a Zanclean coastal sandstone in California.
It was recombined as Puffinus (Puffinus) felthami by Wetmore (1956).
