Montanoolithus strongorum

Taxonomy
Montanoolithus strongorum was named by Zelenitsky and Therrien (2008). It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is TMP 2007.4.1, an egg (a nesting trace and five partial eggs of an in situ clutch.). Its type locality is Blackfeet Indian Reservation, Montanoolithus [PROXY], which is in a Campanian fluvial mudstone/sandstone in the Two Medicine Formation of Montana.
