Concinnithyris obesa

Taxonomy
Terebratula obesa was named by Sowerby (1823). Its type specimen is B49832, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Norton Bavant, Wiltshire, which is in a Cenomanian marine chalk in the Lower Chalk Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Concinnithyris.

It was recombined as Concinnithyris obesa by Owen (1988).
