Protochares brevipalpis
Taxonomy
Protochares brevipalpis was named by Fikáček et al. (2014). Its type specimen is AM F109568, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Talbragar Fossil Fish Bed (AM collection), which is in a Tithonian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in Australia. It is the type species of Protochares.
