Taxonomy
Thecocyrtella dagysii was named by Halamski et al. (2015). Its type specimen is BJ 3083, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mount Svilaja, which is in a Fassanian open shallow subtidal wackestone in Croatia.
