Subortichthys triassicus
Taxonomy
Subortichthys triassicus was named by Ma and Xu (2017). Its type specimen is IVPP V 20051, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Luoping biota (IVPP collection), which is in a Pelsonian carbonate lime mudstone in the Guanling Formation of China. It is the type species of Subortichthys.
