Dallina miyatokoensis was named by Hatai (1936). It is the type species of Pegmathyris.
It was recombined as Dallina (Pegmathyris) miyatokoensis by Hatai (1940); it was recombined as Pegmathyris miyatokoensis by Williams et al. (2007).
