Itemirella cretacea
Taxonomy
Itemirella cretacea was named by Nessov (1981). Its type specimen is ZIN PHA K77-6, a maxilla (fragment of right maxilla), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dzharakuduk II (general), which is in a Turonian/Turonian delta plain sandstone in the Bissekty Formation of Uzbekistan. It is the type species of Itemirella.
