Taxonomy
Electrofoenops rasnitsyni was named by Turrisi and Ellenberger (2019). Its type specimen is HYM0004/Bu.0004/DSUC/Turrisi, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (DSUC coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
