Lashanichthys sui
Taxonomy
Sangiorgioichthys sui was named by López-Arbarello et al. (2011). Its type specimen is GMPKU-P-1568, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Dawazi village, Luoping County (GMPKU collection), which is in a Pelsonian carbonate limestone in the Guanling Formation of China. It is the type species of Lashanichthys.
It was recombined as Lashanichthys sui by Xu et al. (2019).
