Taxonomy
Cryptolucina megadyseides was named by Saul et al. (1996). Its type specimen is LACMIP 11418, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Satsop River, west fork, which is in an Eocene/Eocene basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Humptulips Formation of Washington. It is the type species of Cryptolucina.
