Dunnicrinus mississippiensis
Taxonomy
Dunnicrinus mississippiensis was named by Moore (1967). Its type specimen is KUMIP KJA-6 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Josey Creek, northwest of Starkville, which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate siltstone in the Prairie Bluff Formation of Mississippi. It is the type species of Dunnicrinus.
