Pinichthys shirvanensis
Taxonomy
Pinichthys shirvanensis was named by Bannikov (2021). Its type specimen is PIN 5599/4, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is right bank of the Pshekha River upstream to Shirvanskaya, which is in a Miocene marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
