Baylea tenera
Taxonomy
Baylea tenera was named by Karapunar and Nützel (2022). Its type specimen is SNSB-BSPG 2011 X 238, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Buckhorn Asphalt Quarry, which is in a Desmoinesian coastal mixed carbonate-siliciclastic in the Boggy Formation of Oklahoma.
