Taxonomy
Keijia kratistos was named by Ceolin et al. (2015). Its type specimen is LM-FCEN 3417, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cerro Azul CA 34, which is in a Danian marine siltstone in the Jagüel Formation of Argentina.
