Taxonomy
Stephaconus vostokovae was named by Vassiljeva (1990). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Udzha River, which is in a Tommotian carbonate limestone in the Emyaksin Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Obtusoconus vostokovae by Kouchinsky et al. (2017).
