Hormotoma gracilis

Taxonomy
Murchisonia gracilis was named by Hall (1847). It is not extant. It is the type species of Hormotoma.

It was recombined as Murchisonia (Hormotoma) gracilis by Salter (1859) and Knight et al. (1960); it was recombined as Hormotoma gracilis by Ulrich and Scofield (1897), Foerste (1923), Knight (1941), Wilson (1951), Liberty (1969) and Wagner (1999).
