Tracheophyta indet., Tracheophyta indet., Tracheophyta indet., Tracheophyta indet., Spermatophyta indet.
Tracheophyta indet. There are possibly two species involved of leaves with a drip-point which may have been fairly large. This apex is cuspidate dentate and generally reminiscent of Zizyphus meigsii (Lesquereux) Berry. Leaves of the second set of counterparts have a more acuminate apex with a somewhat more rounded and possibly glandular dentation. Incompleteness precludes positive identification.
Tracheophyta indet. The assymmetry of this structure suggests a leaflet, somewhat similar to sapindaceous forms. Lateral veins are not discernible in the coriaceous lamina.
Tracheophyta indet. This specimen with counterpart appears to be a branch with attached leavs rather than a compund leaf, although at least one foliar structure is asymmetrical. The small, up to 1.5 cm long (est.) leaves are entire, ovate to lanceolate with a very strong midrib and fine secondary veins which bend upward at the margin. Some veins appear craspendodromous. A detailed morphological description is not possible because of its fragmentary preservation.
Tracheophyta indet. These ovate or elongate bud scales are coriaceious and rare in teh flora while they are numerous and variable in the York Rance assemblage, now in preperation.
Spermatophyta indet. A nearly orbicular structure, about 1 cm in diameter with darkened center and a light, wing-like margin consisting of a polygon mesh. In the counterpart this mesh also overlies teh central part. In another specimen the covering polygon mesh is present in the middle, giving the appearance of two darkened areas. This specimen particularly confirms the existance of the outer mesh over the entire structure.
