Environment/lithology: fissure fill; conglomerate and brown, red, silty claystone

• "mixed, coarse, clastic sediments (gravels, pebbles, sands) with more fine grained, red-brown, silty-clayey sediments (old terra-rossa); in many cases the coarse material appears as lenses with lateral continuity into the overlying deposits of the Antonios Fm"

• fossils "were recovered after an artificial cutting for the construction of a road"

•most material described by Vasileiadou and Koufos 2005 was collected by screenwashing after the original report of Koufos and Syrides, but that paper also reports some screenwashed material
