Also known as UALP locality 78121
Where: Pima County, Arizona (32.6° N, 110.7° W: paleocoordinates 32.5° N, 110.7° W)
• coordinate estimated from map
• small collection-level geographic resolution
When: Late/Upper Pleistocene to Late/Upper Pleistocene (0.1 - 0.0 Ma)
• a "radiocarbon date of 6080 +/- 250 B.P." on "endocarps of Celtis reticulata" is rejected as "too young by at least 2000 years" because the sample is thought to have been "contaminated by carbonates in percolating water" that was definitely present, suggesting a very late Pleistocene or early Holocene age to the authors
• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution
Environment/lithology: cave; unlithified, pebbly, brown, calcareous siltstone
Size classes: macrofossils, mesofossils
Preservation: bone collector
Collected by E. L. Roth, W. Peachey in 1972
Collection methods: bulk, quarrying, sieve,
• University of Arizona, Laboratory of Paleontology collection
•"an approximately 1.0 by 0.5 by 0.5 m layer" was excavated and "screened through window mesh (2 mm) sieves"
