Type specimen: UMMP 34242, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Limestone Mountain, which is in a Richmondian carbonate shale in the Bills Creek Formation of Michigan.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Limestone Mountain
