Type specimen: UMMP 34244, a cephalon/head (cranidium with glabella, right cheek & preglabellar field). Its type locality is Sun Oil Company, Buss-Halb unit No. 1 well core, Freedom Township, which is in a Rocklandian/Shermanian carbonate limestone in the Trenton Formation of Michigan.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Sun Oil Company, Buss-Halb unit No. 1 well core, Freedom Township
