Belongs to Deperetella according to T. Tsubamoto et al. 2000
Sister taxa: Deperetella depereti, Deperetella dienensis, Deperetella khaitchinulensis, Deperetella kungeica, Deperetella sichuanensis
Type specimen: AMNH 20290, a partial skull. Its type locality is Ula Usu, Shara Murum (AMNH), which is in an Eocene terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Shara Murum Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling browser
Distribution: found only at Ula Usu, Shara Murum (AMNH)
