Belongs to Deperetella according to T. Tsubamoto et al. 2000
Sister taxa: Deperetella cristata, Deperetella depereti, Deperetella dienensis, Deperetella khaitchinulensis, Deperetella kungeica
Type specimen: IVPP V5373, a mandible. Its type locality is Shipigou, which is in an Eocene/Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Hetaoyuan Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling browser
Distribution: there are no occurrences of Deperetella sichuanensis in the database
