Type specimen: UCMP 112341, a shell (fragmentary but compositely nearly complete shell). Its type locality is UCMP V74133, which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial horizon in the Wind River Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: aquatic durophage-piscivore
Distribution:
• Eocene of United States (10: Wyoming collections)
Total: 10 collections each including a single occurrence
