Sister taxa: Tupus gilmorei, Tupus gracilis, Tupus orientalis, Tupus permianus, Tupus whitei

Type specimen: LdLAP 568, a wing (Four Outspread wings). Its type locality is F41, Le Mourrel, Lodève basin, which is in a Kungurian pond claystone/siltstone in the Salagou Formation of France.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at F41, Le Mourrel, Lodève basin
