Type specimen: AMNH 3160, a partial skull (Disarticulated skull and mandible). Its type locality is CaƱadon Hondo, Bird Clay locality, which is in a Casamayoran lacustrine claystone/tuff in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution:
• Eocene of Argentina (4 collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
