Type specimen: UCMP 37877, a mandible (Anterior part of right dentay). Its type locality is Cebupithecia Cerro Gordo; Monkey Locality; UCMP V-4517, which is in a Laventan terrestrial claystone/sandstone in Colombia.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution:

• Miocene of Colombia (3 collections), Peru (1)
