Type specimens:
- Sebecus querejazus: MHNC P3701, a partial skull. Its type locality is Vila Vila, which is in a Danian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Lucía Formation of Bolivia.
- Sebecus carajazus:
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Vila Vila
