Type specimen: PVL 2606, a partial skull (Rostral portion of skull and mandible). Its type locality is Near Mina Aguilar (PVL), which is in a Selandian/Thanetian terrestrial horizon in the Mealla Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Near Mina Aguilar (PVL)
